You think? If it's not Marschs ex, it has to have an American accent (probably!)

I think the striker they're after is South American?

Not about imports/exports, it's about the level the players who play for these clubs are expected to play at and the EVIDENCE of past performance shows incontrovertibly that the PL requires and gets better performances from more players across a wider spectrum of clubs than ANY European league and therefore provides a larger and more capable resource pool than any other league (and I'd suggest that should also extend to the Championship).

If you "don't see what (I'm) getting at", then there's not much point in continuing the dialogue.
Oh look the insults start.... took a little while. No I have no idea what your rambling about. The top leagues have usually well over 50% imports of which many will have been scouted and signed by those Premier clubs from lower/other. leagues across the world.
You seem to be saying you want us to buy only in these top leagues, so waiting for lower league signings to develop and proven in those premier leagues... then what? Pay top dollar for them, your going round in circles talking about only signing from certain leagues, players who are proven at that level, so no need for scouting just a massive cheque book (that's worked out well for us before)
We are back for a 3rd season in the PL, after a massive gap, that has seen the likes of Leicester and more overtake us with the billions we have missed out on. We are not at the top table able to buy anyone from anywhere like some Fifa XBox game, we will have to continue making some risky signings until/if established in the PL.

Where are the PL players coming from for these winning teams??? With their bloated war chest, apart from some also developing academies, Its a mercenary league, their taking nearly all the best players from the other leagues, thus making it less likely other countries will win the champions league... its not rocket science

In what way am I insulting anyone, jeesus you (and others) are thin skinned. If you don't get (or dont wish) to see what I'm trying to say, fine but please don't pretend to be offended.

No point discussing with someon who can't open their minds to an alternative view. I've admitted to being wrong about some things in the past, unlike just about everyone.else who.posts here who labour under the misconception that they know everything about everything LUFC related.

As i said, no point continuing on this discourse. Enjoy your mutual backslapping

Nah, Nketia maybe a poor mans sniffer, but Joffy/Jones - nothing like each other - never in a million years - IMO

Think Drameh seems to have an ego that will prevent him getting what he wants - think he will go - especially if the rumours about Rasmus Kristensen being on the verge of joining are correct - he wont be prepared to be a back up this season h'es made that clear already, and I think with that attitude we wont really miss the lad.

Not forgetting how he chose to demand a loan when he was probably most needed

Drameh deserves his chance, proved his point by going on loan and fair play to him. He will have to really put a shift in for me to change my opinion of his attitude but nobody can say he isn't deserving of that spot in the team
I can, Joffy, Shacks and various others have had to be patient if they want a chance. Now Bielsa has gone "Demanding" a first team slot - or else I'm off - just wont be acceptable to the manager - or fans for that matter

    Groundhog day again ffs
EVERY single close season is the same with you, doesn't matter what the topic you ALWAYS ALWAYS take a negative view, I cannot remember you once being positive about ANY signing we have made over the last ten seasons. Occasionally when one of your "Waste of money" comments come home to roost [Harrison] you sort of accept you may have been a little hasty in slagging them off before they had even played a game for us, but in general every player we have signed has been a waste of money by Orta and the club, and you of course trot out the old "No one will see your point of view" nonesense. It took you about two seasons to acknowledge Bielsa may have been a good signing - but where unconvinced that Orta had anything to do with it.

Fortunately all us mutual back slappers are Leeds fans first and foremost and tend to be glass half full guys until proven otherwise - you my friend are the opposite, and it would be amazing if just for ONCE you waited to see a players performance BEFORE jumping in feet first to slag them off - but that wont happen.

You just carry on looking for as many negatives as possible about every player and leave the rest of us to look forward to a new season with a bit of excitement if thats okay?

Strange isn't it, you (and a few others), take great trouble to reply to my posts, usually with the kind of vitriol in the one above, with judgements about whether or not I'm a genuine Leeds supporter, my views on the decisions the club makes about everything LUFC-related, and yet you needn't, you could simply put me on ignore or not respond even if you take the trouble to read what I post. But you don't, do you (well, not until I point out that you could, you might take that as a challenge? )?

I'd go back over all my posts since 2011 and analyse how many observations/opinions I've expressed have turned out to be accurate, but life is too short. I'm satisfied that the majority would be found to be on the money, you of course would disagree. I could care less.

Oh, and just one matter to challenge your "Always, Always take a negative view" statement........go back to when Bates sold, GFH came in followed by Cellino and then Radrizzani.......for that whole period, whenever there was a suggestion that the ground should be acquired I was wholeheartedly in favour, not only because a club should own its home, but because it was financially the right thing to do, and when Radrizzani "did the right thing" I was 100% in favour AND positive about that acquisition. There are others, many more, but there will be no convincing you, just as WS is wedded to the assertion that the Austrian Bundesliga is a suitable fishing ground. We will see who is more on the money, won't we?

We seem fixated on a couple of targets just like in years past. It’s not worked well in the past and will not chAnge this time around.

At least we are doing business early.
