    Ardley vs The Fish

Who are we going for? Ardley for me, I’d like to see him do well, and I’d like another crack at the fish next year.

I'd fear Grimsby more than Solihull next year. If Grimsby don't go up, I think they'll be among the favourites for promotion next time. So for that reason, I'd like to Grimsby go up. Nothing against Ardley or Solihull, mind.

Personally would like to see Grimsby go up. Next season is going to be tough enough and if Grimsby do stay in our Division, I can see them being title contenders. I don’t see Solihull being as strong.

On one hand, I'd be chuffed for Neal Ardley, he's an all round decent human being and I'd like him to get some success and rebuild after trying to help Notts.

On the other, not sure I could stomach any more Ardley/Burchnall/ new coach comparison and also Grimsby seem to be a bogey team for us so get them out the way

As long as we get regular Ardley Updates I'm happy for either to go up both would be deserved winners IMO.

If the Mariners make it then it really is a fairytale playoffs and end to the season for them with those dramatic late winners away from home in QD and SF after coming from behind in both.

If I had to choose I'd got for Solihull get Dallas and Sbarra out of this league.

Grimsby's playoff run so far is deserving of promotion. They've shown amazing character and desire - exactly what we've been missing.

Grimsby going up would be better for Notts

Solihull haven't exactly been consistent challengers.
    2021/225th tier 3rd/23
    2020/215th tier 11th/23
    2019/205th tier 9th/24
    2018/195th tier 2nd/24
    2017/185th tier 18th/24
    2016/175th tier 16th/24

Grimsby you'd expect to be in the mix again,

100% Solihull to go up. They deserve it after their league situation, and I would love Ardley to prove the 'he always bottles it in big games' to be wrong.

As for the comments above, let's not forget that apart from a stupid last few seconds push and a goal that their manager said was offside it could have been us there. Of course, I would be expecting the usual excuses for why we won!

It makes me wonder how much involvement the brothers have in signings. Seems odd that since Ardley left he's done better without the Radar involvement on a much smaller budget. OK he got us to the final but that was not long after they got involved. I found it odd that Burchnall was willing to give up that pool of information and the project so easy for what is on paper a much smaller club.

Anyway I'd like Grimsby to go up to get them out the way as they'll be one of the favourites for automatic next season.
