    This post reminds me of a post I made recently about Barnsley never having a prolonged period of success.
    And because of that football supporters in the district have drifted away to other clubs such as Leeds and the Sheffield clubs.
    The club - and the town - are crying out for a period of success.

    The Leeds & Sheffield clubs are all big city clubs but it is somewhat ironic that in recent history none of these clubs have done anything apart from like ourselves have dropped to division three , their fans demand better because of the history & the size of the clubs but all three go through managers on a regular basis in their search for the holy grail & although Leeds are currently in the top flight it is in fact a sad indictment of yorkshire football that a county as big as ours cannot produce a really top side & where you say that our club is crying out for success so are the big city clubs as well .
