    Yep, people were being thrown out of saloons, hanging rustlers from trees, robbing banks and shooting passers-by from upstairs windows. Where the hell is the Sheriff when you want him?

    I think this is also because people don’t want to put it into an account that is overdrawn or where someone else in the family has access.

    The winners are the pawn brokers

    Or those that collect money " cash in hand" and want to stay invisible to the tax system

    Grist that’s just about any tradesperson. Any work I’ve had done in my home, I never paid the full amount as I pay £ notes. No VAT, I’m a winner tradesperson is a winner, that’s how life is.

    They quote a price, I discount the VAT off and we come to an agreement.
