This forum isn't dying, it's dead. And that's in large part due to your constant ranting about ferries and your anti SNP diatribes which just bored people to death. Add to that your refusal to engage in conversation or discussion with anyone that has a converse view to yours, or who dares to question your opinion which you dress as fact, then it's just a **** place to be of an evening.
Another forum is thriving partly because the admin had the foresight to get rid of you and your nonsense.
Sorry if that hurts, the truth often does.
It doesn't hurt because it is your personal view but it was decent of you to recognise that it was rude.
I think the trouble is that there is a feeling that, with anything to do with Republicanism, Monarchy, Religion, Nationalism, Capitalism, Communism, Socialism etc, there is a right view and if you question a post, you are saying that the poster is wrong. It's just opinions and these matters have been debated for centuries.
This is a football forum where Dundee supporters can express their views. O/T was a common heading so that you knew that the thread was not about football. how about going back to that?
There have been times when the subjects and the ideas expressed have been informative and enlightening. As an example Islay has been banging on about Calmac and ferries for years. Almost everything he said is now common knowledge and I think it is a disgrace that things are not getting fixed.
The blame lies with those who are in charge and in my view SNP supporters should be writing to their local MSP's and suggesting that the issue needs to be addressed. Getting the problem fixed by the SNP is entirely in the interests of the SNP so what is wrong with bringing matters such as this to light?
For the avoidance of doubt RRoS has good reason to call TDB what he does, treated and spoken to very badly by him.
I personally have no issues with TDB but some of the posters on that forum are total knob ends.
Thank you for your post whivh is greatly appreciated, particularly mentioning ferries and the SNP.
Thanks to the SNP ministers incompetence ignoring the Scottish Government owned CMAL management’s advice not to award the contract to build ferries 801 and 802 at Ferguson’s Shipyard these new ferries rusting away is now the talk of the steamie.
People throughout Scotland and beyond are now talking about these ferries with their panted on wooden windows. They are also expressing their concerns about this shambles, how much it is going to finally cost when the work it is eventually finished and they are handed over to the Scottish Government owned Calmac Ferries Limited.
This fiasco is worth a topic on its own.
