    On a more serious point, the dugout is probably the worst viewpoint for seeing what’s happening on the pitch

    Might need to use Phil hensons milk crate…and sit at other side of pitch..!..

    Ah, but that depends on what you want to see. In the 1930s many dugouts were literally just that - below ground level. Apparently the idea of an Aberdeen Coach called Donald Colman who wanted to watch his players feet.

    Graham Turner did that when he was manager at Wolves before the new main stand was built and the old one had been condemned.
