So, at the risk of this turning into a good old 20,000 page NCM sh1tfight, who'd have NA back?

No, 'cos the owners are part of the problem with the "model". Unless they change it to suit the rigors of NL, honestly can't see anybody being a success here

No. He failed here in multiple ways. Got us relegated, failed to get us promoted. Down-played the quality of our players. Talked up the opposition.

    Bring in a winner.

I'd be happy with Askey. He's won the NL already. And with promotion last season, he'll come in with some positivity.

I don't think our previous two owners would ever have taken back a manager they had previously released/sacked because their egos wouldn't allow it. I would be less surprised if the Reedtz Brothers made such a decision because I think they're far more objective. If Ardley was the best manager available right now in their judgement, I think they would re-appoint him. It wasn't an acrimonious departure anyway, so I don't think there would have to be a huge amount of bridge building.

Would I have him back? Well, I was slightly surprised at the timing of his departure anyway, but my view would be pretty much as above. If he's the best manager available on the market right now, and if he's interested, then I wouldn't have any objection. Whatever you think of Ardley as a manager, I think most would agree he's a top bloke. It's only a rumour at this stage though, from a fairly dubious source.

As stated above, John Askey would be a great choice right now in my opinion, even though it's reported he's not interested.
