    I can't understand why United agreed to terminate TC's contract only for him to move to another club within hours. Where does this leave the club regarding compensation? Surely they should have stuck to their guns and forced TC into resigning to get his move. Maybe it is a lot simpler than I am understanding but I am a bit confused by the whole episode.

    That’s kind of where I’m at. Surely if Honved wanted him, then show us the money and crack on. The only thing I can think of is that maybe TC was due, for instance, some performance related bonuses from the season just finished and has agreed to walk away from that in return for United releasing him. It’s the only thing that would make any sense.
