...or maybe Everton paid too much? I suppose you could argue he's a few years older and
was playing regularly for the national team which might bump up the price. Rangers should be in a desperate position but people seem to think they don't have to sell their players...or that's the impression they give. Maybe we got a better sell on clause than the Huns? Might be worth more in the end. Fact is, we need the money right now or we won't have a team.

But £1.5m would be an insult, as Ferguson is also a Scotland squad regular with a good amount of domestic experience under his belt. Unless he's nearly out of contract...in which case we missed our chance for a good wedge.
