However she fails to admit that her Scottish Government failed to do anything about the train drivers in Scotland failing to carry out overtime working throughout last year resulting in a reduced service on a Sunday or some routes being cancelled leaving the management of Abelio who held the Scotrail franchise at the time to negotiate with the rail union bosses on behalf of their union members.
Abelio must have been delighted when the Scottish Government took back the Scotrail franchise a year before the contract was due to come up for renewal.
