Of the new players, Bajrami and Austin stood out for me, both looked busy and composed.

The trialist Morton had a decent game as well, sat in front of the defence picking passes out. Fairly easy job, given the opposition but he did it well.

Tobi A-R had a tougher time against their left back but he's only had a couple of training sessions tbf.

Langstaff and Scott showed bits but it's always hard for a whole new 11 to come on at half time and gel.

Bit disturbing that the two lads from Gateshead were showing their bits. Hopefully LW and RH can coach that out of them!

So are we buying Jackson Smith or loan with option to buy?

As he's signed a new contact with wolves but Williams said maybe looking at him on a permanent basis

Hopefully will grow into it the more he plays

Eastcoastultra, it's very unusual for someone with such a negative attitude to go to such a low key pre season friendly. Also it was hardly a 'performance', more performances, as two different elevens played a half each.
Would have been nice for you to enlighten us why we were not quite as sh*te as them, or even say if there was anything or one that impressed a little.

Williams’ first reaction being to lay into a couple of bits of sloppy defending definitely feels like a sea change from last season.

You seem to be another one who really doesn't understand how boards like this one work. To try and help you out, sometimes the most negative posters are the most passionate fans, and they post in very negative terms because defeats really, really hurt them. They often go over the top, but it's because they really care.
