Errr no, it was an attempt to get WS to provide a straight answer to a straight question. You're entitled to an opinion, but it would be interesting to see the response from WS.

6 decent players in before the summer tour - Roberts out to QPR with an option to buy, Davies about to be sold, Cresswelll out on loan.

Still looking like a B+ and maybe even an A- depending on how those players get on.

Left back in and a striker and then definitely an A.

WS clearly isn't enamoured of Alioski, despite his performance at LUFC being light years better than our current starting LB. I was interested as to whether he thought Firpo was better, that and nothing else (although I would say that I suggested Charlie Taylor as a target some weeks ago).
Alioski was a great character but not that good at defending, much like Firpo in his first season. But I will give Firpo the benefit of a season bedding in, overcoming injury and a serious bout of covid...
You currently seem obsessed with bringing back ex players (some am sure you would have had a go at, at some point) ... move on pointless bringing back at best average PL players...

Not quite sure how you conclude I'm "obsessed with bringing back ex-players" apart from Alioski unless you mean Charlie Taylor, who would be a much better LB than Alioski and certainly Firpo. I'd rather have an average PL LB than the (at best) middling Championship version we have (or had, before he got crocked).

And just how long are we supposed to give players before they are expected to earn their keep doing what they are paid a kings ransom to do?
