sinkov, you forgot Climate Change which, I am reliably informed by 'experts' is totally different to Global Warming, however, it most probably would affect the seals.

I'm going for global warming Sub, I've been swimming in the sea at Sheringham this afternoon and it was quite pleasant, almost warm. I might give it a go at Whitley Bay next time we're up there, can't be much different to the North Norfolk coast.

    Update on "almost done deals":

    Cullen in for £3 million.

Collins reportedly off to Wolves for £20.5 million.

Cornet off to the Toon for £17.5 million.

    Not looking great is it?

You could be right, and to be honest I'm in no hurry to find out. Sub would know, perhaps he could dip his toe in and find out for us.

£35 million profit banked, I would imagine it looks great from where Mr Pace is sitting.

Where is that calculation coming from sinkov?

I reckon £9 million on Pope, £7 million on Collins, £5 million on Cornet.

McNeil is next through the door - another £12 million might get you close.

North Sea at Whitley Bay is never going to be as warm as in Sheringham, however, the locals certainly do partake, even throughout the winter months.
It used to be very nice just off Blyth when they had the big power station there because it used to discharge very warm water and the seas was lovely, however, from time to time, it did attract some sharks.
Here endeth the review of the North Sea bathing conditions in an area which has Caribbean beaches and Arctic weather.

It shouldn't require a grammar school education to work that little sum out mon ami, although I still don't know why they did away with them.

Bollox to Whitley Bay, you and BT are right Sub, sea temp at Sheringham today, 16.7, Whitley Bay 13.3. That is a big difference, my ventures into the briny will be restricted solely to Sheringham. In Whitley Bay I'll look for the municipal swimming pool, assuming that's heated, but they're hardy souls up there, it may not be.
