That wouldn’t be too bad as both Taylor and Roberts like to get forward. By all reports the new full backs are of the same mentality. Two holding midfielders with two more attack minded might trouble a few teams.

What we don’t know is to what extent Dyche stifled the likes of Brownhill and Westwood or are they defensive midfielders? In which case, the new boys, Cullen and Baasten could be the creative, attacking midfield.

Do we then need McNeil and JBG?

I would prefer to keep Cornet and see him play alongside Twine. Keep Barnes and JayRod as subs who might be able to influence games as opposing defenders tire.

I don't think we will be battling for points to stay in the Championship, although we may have to give it some time to see where we really are at.
I am with you, bb. After seasons of grimly hanging on with “them slim margins” that we were always on the wrong side of, it will be refreshing to think that we might play some teams off the park.

I don’t think it will be an overnight success. I sense too that, sadly, there were will some who post here regularly who will be quick to predict League 2 after a loss.

Let’s keep the faith and get behind the Club. UTC!

Vinny is certainly not afraid to give the youngsters a chance...

Never mind a loss, I'm predicting D1 next season and we haven't played a game yet.

I have some optimism at the moment. If we get a decent striker like the lad from Citeh on loan I think we will be top half of the table.Cornet would have been deadly in the Championship.

I've got a bet on us to be relegated, but to be honest CiB, I'm much less convinced I'm going to collect on it than I was a few weeks ago. There does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel. I still worry about the finances though, I'm not convinced they won't derail us at some point in the season. We'll see.

Bloody hell sinkov it's BT's jackpot time!
I'll bet you another tenner we do not get relegated.
I'll bet you another tenner that our cash liquidity will not present us with a problem at any time during the 2022/23 season.
I'll bet you yet another tenner Cornet will be off before we kick off against Huddersfield to further assuage your worries about our finances mon ami.
    Are we on?

I'm on at 14/1 that we get relegated and you offer me evens. You will understand if I decline your offer won't you. I just have this inkling, a feeling in my water, that we are in more financial trouble than Mr Pace will let on, but it's no more than that, certainly not a betting proposition. I think Cornet's absence last night merely confirms what I said when he signed for us, he won't be here next season. Glorious Goodwood on the horizon, more bets than you can shake a sh1tty stick at there mon ami, proper bookies, proper odds. Stop being silly.

My only concern in saying that is that we do not have the likes of Pointer, Willie Irvine, Andy Lochead. Can Barnes and JayRod actually score goals? The lad Twine would have a big job to do!
That was Bielsa's philosophy at Leeds Swiss. They sacked him.
