    Germany S hitting Themselves

Well - they only have themselves to blame for dithering and no plan B. The alternative is to cozy up to the Devil. As Sunak says - there’s no need to worry ( if you have a few million ) 😭

Entire industries in Germany could collapse due to natural-gas supply cuts from Russia, said the country's top union official.

Cozy up and concede to the Devil will result in further land grabs and domination. Europe is heading for a huge recession and sadly we can’t expect the Yanks to provide any bail out!

Too many in the West are selfish and more worried about number one. Sunak will be more bothered about the mrs restarting her business interests in Russia worth millions which is the moral of the story!

Until reading some recent articles I didn’t realise just how bad things could potentially get for Germany.

It just shows how inept most of our leaders are in leaving us so exposed.

Energy and water have long been mentioned as the weakness in regards to attack by terrorists that could leave us very vulnerable if attacked.

To think so many have trusted Putin and Russia.

You can never trust a bully with God complex.

I remember in my own line of business 20 odd years in the spirts trade when Mike Ashley and his Sports Direct were slaughtering all competition including the then massive JJB Sports on price.

An old “sage” in the trade told me that Ashley would use this ploy until he’d wiped out all of his major competitors and then once he had, he’d then start to increase his prices.

Different scenarios but the same story, a reliance on cheap product from one source sees you being had by the bo ll ox in the long run.

People in the U.K. need to stop b I t c h I n g about shale gas and wind turbines because we have enough renewables and natural stuff to power us for generations if we release it.

I’m fed up of such pathetic leadership, this stuff has been obvious for 30 years now.

Germany ain't the only one-Italy, for example, is even more dependant. The problem is that the West has been blindsided by Putin and any voices raising concerns have been silenced by those seeking trade and increased profits. The malaise of complacency coupled with the greed of a few has meant that we have left exploring alternative options too late. The US could be virtually oil self sufficient but Biden is still arm bumping the similarly unpalatable Saudis in order to get their oil. Realpolitik.

You are right there! The US are virtually self sufficient with oil but also food due to the vast different climates all over the States so are not reliant on imports on the scale of Europe. It’s Europe’s own fault and even now some very rich people are putting financial greed with transactions with Russia over the bigger picture. If anybody thinks Sunak for example will look to help the have nots as priority over his wife’s interests in Russia is deluded! For me the greed with Sunak and Zahawi is far greater than Johnson!

I can see parity with the pound to dollar like the euro which will hammer all those companies transacting in dollars. Reserves don’t last long.

We are deeply in the s hit in Europe and Putin won’t relent until Ukraine is wiped off the map. Certain leaders need to wake up quickly!! The contingency should be if Russia come anywhere near Kiev then NATO should attack!

Mick’s last but one paragraph is the answer. Putin is power crazed and will only stop when there’s no reliance or he’s battered.

My son was being picked on at school and to the horror of my wife - I said to drop the nut on the bully. He did exactly that and the bully was humiliated beyond words and even got a beating on the way home from school. Harsh - not really!! If Ukrainian civilians are being executed and raped - what would you do if you were an Ukrainian soldier? Two can play this which is why ISIS became fearful!

What I didn't know or had forgotten the original deal was done back in 1970 with the USSR. Nato told them at the time is was a mistake but economics was put in front of geopolitics. West Germany started hole that is now so big they can't dig themselves out of it.

It's ironic how a country who had so much of the stuff, that they found new and imaginative ways to use it, has none left now.

    Shame that, isn't it.

Gas turned on to the relief of the Germans and more money in the coffers for Putin’s boys to continue the execution and mass murder of civilians, Anyone who thinks Putin will stop until forced is deluded as the aim will be to wipe Ukraine off the map. I trust schools have tweeked history lessons of Nazi Germany and Hitler to what’s happening in 2022 in Ukraine!
