Why can’t we keep wheeling Wood out if he’s fit enough? Judging by Kevin Ellison’s standards Woody is good for another 5 years!

obviously the statement bout wheeling wood out is a piss take. He’s been brilliant for the club in the past but he’s too slow for the championship. If we are relying on wood to to start the majority of games this season we are in trouble. A sub at best.

As little consolation as it is, does the amount of gazumping that is going on with our targets not give us some hope that we are targeting the right player? It doesn't soften the blow and frustration but there is that way to look at it. I'm trying, with limited success.

That's just club spiel. There is very little evidence of gazumping by L1 clubs of potential targets. The problem lies elsewhere.

Let's face it Roly, a lot of folk won't realise how many hours they work or how much they do.

I've not met Kelham but I'm in touch with Sam. He is as loyal to RUFC as anyone could be and never, never lets on about anything happening at the club. It is his work you read when he does the programme and that's one for every home game.

It was Sam that made it possible for me to watch the Papa Johns Final whilst in my hospital bed when I had no other means of doing so.

Matt Young is still enjoying his time at Sheffield United or he was the last I heard.

Ben was last seen posting an interview he did with a block call Klopp.

There is also Matt Goodwin who is contracted to do certain number of commentaries per season. Sam fills in the rest of them and Kelham did a Papa Johns or two last season.
