Could be a big player for us this year if he stays.
Sorry to disagree army88 (what's new?), I don't rate him, head goes down, bottom lip comes out, I want fighters not big Jessies.

You know BT everyone has a bit of trauma in their lives at some point and Mcneils I believe was last season , a bit of drop in form , lots of games no rest , manager under pressure demanding more from him defensively.

The lad did sulk said it my self but I have a son at home ( again ) at the minute who’s 27 and he can sulk kick off with the best of them , Mcneil is a young man finding his way , he’s a very good footballer and an asset to Burnley if he manages to stay - other clubs don’t have an interest for nothing Palace - West Ham - Everton - he must have something.

He’ll bounce back weather it’s with us or not is irrelevant, but like I said before he’ll shock a few if he gets with the right team and players.

If he stays I think he will be a revelation this season in an attacking team.

I'm in agreement with Army and CiB, dropping down a level, playing in an attack minded team he could be outstanding. If he goes I simply cannot imagine us replacing him with anyone even close to his abilty.

Right on autocue, I knew you would be along to join the dissenters sinkov! Paul Smith had a much better attitude and a much better left foot and look what happened to him.

£15 million and bite their hand off.

I know exactly what happened to Smudger, Stan tried to turn him into a full-back. It was a disaster, oil tankers turn quicker.

The vain little tw@t "is keen to leave Burnley this summer and return to the Premier League after his side’s relegation last term."

Terrier Taxis will oblige for free!

I have nothing but respect for Ben Mee.We got his best years and now another club can put up with his occasional clangers.
