Potentially a great signing with him now being in his prime age wise, but like with all our recent signings I hope for the best but wouldn't be surprised if we get a shadow of his former self, like Grady and Mowatt, etc, etc.

This makes our signing of Molumby even more foolish as we now have 3/4 similar mf on above average champ wages who will be very hard to move this summer and next summer if we don't go up.

Hope you are well Blood. I think Okay has the quality to shine again as he was a rock on the ball and far superior to Livermore. I never rated Molumby and yes he’s young but I think you either have it or you don’t! One million was a complete waste of money!

We do need another striker badly though and as Mick said worth a punt on Gayle again as you either know where the net is or you don’t! I fear Dike could be another Anichabe but hope I’m wrong!

I see Brucie has his excuses ready.

“It’s an exciting signing for us because he played very well when he was here,” Bruce said. “We’re going to have to see where he is fitness-wise. Has he been playing?

“When you miss pre-season, I always think it’s very difficult to play catch up"

    Available for the Christmas fixtures?

Ideal for Bruce, Livermore first on the team sheet

This is “manager speak” or what we used to refer to in business as “corporate speak”.

This is a disease that afflicts many people, they pick up on phrases and “new thinking” and then start to spout it themselves.

It’s a bit like The King’s New Clothes, they swallow whatever guff is thrown at them and then try to stay cool and relevant by espousing the same rubbish.
