I don't get it. No mention of Greaves. Hull hardly given a chance. Still no fit wide left player good enough. Up front down to two 3 if Greaves was involved!

Just noticed your imminent comment nardendee not the same as he has actually signed.According to Warne the other day all paper work was in place for the midfielder the other day which sounds pretty imminent but within about 2 hours hed buggered off somewhere else. Having all the paper work in place is not quite the same as someone actually writing their name on the bugger.

I thought greaves had been released but i may be wrong.
Agree with what you are saying but not only was this signing imminent the attendees were told that he had signed. As far as I was aware John is part of the fixtures & fittings of Rotherham United, so I am not relating to comments from Ken from Kimmy, Walter from Wingfield, or indeed Michael from Mexborough. We are talking about an Honorary Life President of the club.
I don’t want trade secrets. Just to be transparent.
In this case there is nothing to be gained by giving the silent treatment to supporters who actually also would like to feel part of the club not simply punters.
The truth is out there. Mulder & Scully 1994.
Gru - Please give it a rest about Greaves. Please. Rightly or wrongly, it isn't happening, move on.
Sawmiller - Which journalist said about TS following the Norwich model? Be an interesting read / comparison.
Millerbill - If you think we should be on par with Preston when recruiting there is no point in trying to explain. Why you can't understand is beyond me.
Announcing deals - Similar situation in the NBA with a big trade involving the team I follow expected to go through shortly. Couple of journalists jumped the gun yesterday and then had to backtrack when it wasn't done as they suggested. The problem is journalists trying to be the first to reveal big news. They end up jumping the gun.
We just have to wait. As frustrating as it is, nowt we can do. Someone start a random thread that won't cause controversy, keep people entertained.
And completely off topic, I saw a piece on us being at NYS for 10 years yesterday, accompanied by a picture of some of the team. Arnason, Pringle, Noble etc. But there was one guy who I didn't recognise, at all.
Anyone?

Must be getting old MT - I've no recollection of the 'Norwich Model' - or where I read it. Just done a search and can't find anything about it - perhaps he sees some similarities between the clubs though I'd struggle to say what those might be - little fish in a bigger pond perhaps as the Canaries have spent a reasonable amount of time in the top flight? Bringing younger players through the ranks?
