    While I agree with what you say, not much a club can do if the lad wants a move though. With possibly double or triple wages on offer, who can blame him? Reading between the lines it does seem that we held out till they matched our valuation of him.

    I wouldn't blame him at all, it's a fairly short career so he needs to get what he can.

    That's where I'm not so sure. If the fee means we get better then our model is clearly working.

    After some of the garbage I've witnessed at a higher level, I still think Cal will be a hard act to replace.
