I've loved watching this tournament, I went to one of the French games, great to watch, great atmosphere.
England have been brilliant, football is indeed coming home.

The standout thing for me in this tournament was the consistent referees. They allowed the game to flow. Every time a player fell to the floor it wasn't a foul. Also VAR has been used perfectly. Only mistake I've seen the whole tournament (IMO) was the England penalty in the group stages.
    A credit to the organisation

It does make you wonder why the mens team can't play the same way.
Because the mens team have got a dinosaur as manager, one that doesn’t rock the boat just how the FA like it.Players playing shouldn’t be any we’re near the International team.

Hopefully there will be a massive backlash about all the diving and injury faking. If the women don't fall over in agony when someone breathes on them then the macho men just look stupid.

There is too much money in the game for that to start with coaches and managers but it could quite easily start with the pundits who instead of calling it cheating, support it with their comments like 'there was contact' 'he was entitled to go down' and my personal bug bear 'he won a penalty' - penalties are conceded by defenders they aren't won by attackers. If the pundits start calling it out and embarrassing them, comparing them unfavourably to the women who seem to have a much greater sense of balance and can stay on their feet, them just maybe it might slowly start to have an impact. I suspect male footballers don't like being inferior, less respected, play second fiddle and compared unfavourably to women footballers.

Most men footballers don’t give a toss what anybody thinks.
