I wonder how many man-hours went into trying to sign Dawson and Lansbury, must have been hundreds, and we never signed either of them in the end.

I know you have reservations about your dining companion mon ami, but he's certainly sorted out the Recruitment Department.

Has he, this brings back happy memories of the good old days, will we, won't we, should we chuck them a few grand more ?

"Burnley have renewed their interest in Callum O’Hare after the sale of Dwight McNeil. They’ve offered the 24 year-old a major pay-rise, and he’s interested in the move. However, Burnley are yet to agree a fee with Coventry."

    It's deja-vu all over again.

Unfortunately they managed to get Stephen in the end from Brighton at the four****th attempt. It is all looking quite pitiful now.
I am starting to see some logic in this set-up.If you were a skillful, ambitious young player you would probably get a hard on thinking about playing for Citeh. So what is better than to put yourself in the shop window playing for their ex captain at a club which is a stones throw from the Etihad?
I like what I am seeing and in the long run it could work out great.Buy them young and relatively cheap from Europe-develop them and then cash in.Luvvly jubbly.
