Goodbye Dycheball, hello the beautiful game

After last nights performance I think we can finally close the door on the Sean Dyche era. That was so refreshing to watch after 6 years of "holding on in games" as Pace put it in an interview this week.
Whatever your opinion of Sean, it is now obvious a completely new style of play is the order of the day under VK and I for one welcome it.Sean will never be forgotten but we have moved on and that was clear for all to see last night.
The really impressive thing is that this team have only trained and played together for a few weeks.Once they gel,VK gets them up to speed and we hopefully get a proven number 9 alongside Twine we will be a real force to be reckoned with whilst being pleasing on the eye to say the least.
Congratullations to VK and his team(nice to see Mike jackson in the dugout) for restoring my faith in the beautiful game.UTC!

Well said CIB. I loved what I saw last night. I think the style and Vincent will attract more players to want to play for us before the window shuts. I agree 100% we need a guy that can hit the net regularly and that will cost some dosh. I just hope we can keep Cornet, because then we have more options and are even dangerous with players coming off the bench to change games. Is that not refreshing? Garlick could NEVER have lead this change in BFC. We could be a GLAM team on Sky before too long if things progress. Fancy that!!

I watched the match in the beer garden of my local 'The Wicor Mill' in Portchester. A massive 657 firm stronghold full of Pompey fans on a Friday night (They enjoy the Karoke and it was a pay day). I have been going in there over 33 years so the adopted 'Northern Monkey' and actually allowed to go in wearing Burnley colours. I normally get 'friendly banter' (Abuse) but last night they were full of positive comments saying is was good to watch and nice to see football being played.

I'm just watching Middlesbrough v West Bromwich Albion. Be interesting to see how we meet these two big strong, very physical teams head on.
