He was a fully card carrying member of the squad though. It was no one’s fault he barely played through injury and I suspect the reason no one else was brought in last season to cover him was we couldn’t afford to. Now he’s gone, man for man Fletcher is, on paper anyway, his ‘replacement’ but we’re still a man down up front from where we were last season effectively.
