Not disputing that, but hes a midfielder whos not very good at it.... do we just carry him the whole season to score a few goals or do we look to be better in midfield to actually create some more chances for the attacking players to score... id rather the latter

I think what he does best isn't easy to see and quantify. That is, he makes it difficult for opposition teams to play against us in two ways. Most importantly, closing space in midfield but also keeping the ball in our possession. ADS is right of course, how goals last season did win is a lot of points but that, IMHO, isn't the best of him.

As I say, it's a bit of a moot point as a sizable chuck of the United support just don't see it and have made their mind to about him.

One win in nine attempts does that to you.

Ironically under McInnes Aberdeen went there and crushed them.I even remember one game where Killie refused to water a pitch that was as dry as sandpaper McInnes mentioned it pre match. It ended up Killie 0 Sheep 4.

I see a silly (frustrating) and maybe even harsh double yellow has the Harkes haters reveling in it and got their claws out to have a swipe and one minter "the wee American fkr", the reason we are in this position as a club is due to an American owner, we'd be fkd in a limbo otherwise.. As for Harkes, not like he isn't one of the main reasons we got 4th, was part of our best performances and strongest xi last season pre November and he will be again this season

He will still prove the haters wrong in the end as he has for 3 years now which is good so enjoy having a wee kick at the guy

I feel McNulty who I don't rate it like gets a tough ride from some fans and didn't deserve it really as not like he tried to miss etc, so for a guy who has served us so well over years on our way back and popped up with key winners in big games andno history of silly yellows/reds to get this treatment from a section of fans says it all about a section of our fans really

Just glad he is available for Thurs, we have a much better chance with him in the starting xi

    "Haters" lol.

Nice header from Harkes before his 1st stupid booking. Should have been 2-0 up before he sold the jersey's. Maybe when you were listening to the wireless yesterday they never reported his sitter.

At least twice yesterday Harkes passed the ball direct to an opponent, so keeping possession my @rse!

Did anyone else lose possession a couple of times yesterday or was it just Harkes?
