There’s no denying this is a great win and groundbreaking in this country.

Like Ian Wright said though, the WSL have ridiculous kick off times and some silly rules over attending away matches.

Looking at today’s crowd it was a very different crowd to what you see at any men’s match and thus it’s not as easy as just tacking ladies matches onto the same game day as a men’s.

It needs to be Sunday afternoon football and played at the major grounds.

Maybe each club could offer the men’s season ticket plus a 25% increase to give access to the clubs WSL matches

Each football league club should be compelled to have a professional ladies side.

Enjoyed watching that and made up for the Lionesses who showed grit and determination. Thought the composure of Ella Tonne for her goal was excellent. Credit to all and especially to Sarina Weigman. Apparently a record crowd at Wembley too and I'm sure their success will inspire both more girls and boys to play and get involved with the game which can only be a good thing.

Watched the game from the start of the second half. Great to see how much it meant to them; happiness, relief and wild celebration all rolled into one. Well done the England women's team and squad.

They will only get better and better. I was impressed with their fitness levels too. After extra time couldn’t see many with cramp. Some top athletes and well worth a watch.

Even Mick was impressed sitting in Cornwall waving a flag! The fit girls took his memory back to the 80’s 😂

I didn’t watch it or wave a flag, I just saw brief highlights.

Not too many “lookers” from what I’ve witnessed and I’d wager that the majority prefer a latex c o c k rather than the real thing.

Regardless, it was a great win and the first goal had a touch of the Nicky Reid’s in our play off final win, it was a superb first touch and a lovely finish.
