TTT, everybody is entitled to their opinion, and it didn’t come across that you were trying to defend him. Shedka goes extreme accusing people of hating Harkes, but if you read the various posts, many just don’t rate the guy, and many performances from Harkes actually justify their opinion. I simply want the best for my club, and while he may have done a job over the past few seasons, now we are in the premiership, and pushing for the top half (and Europe), Harkes is simply not good enough, and recent performances show that. A one year extension, bearing in mind that means he will be looking at his next employment at least 6months in advance, further compounds that stupid (in many peoples eyes) decision. What makes it even more annoying for me, is that Harkes stalled that extension, which suggested he was hoping for something better, personally, I would have told him to do one!!

Lets face it he was out of contract so where were Hearts,Hibs or Aberdeen?.They have signed over 25 players between them but were never linked with him.That should tell you everything you need to know.

Looking at the highlights again its clear that Harkes is furious for missing a sitter and his booking is due to petulance.I really dinna want to be too harsh on him so i will add maybe i'm wrong and he does actually give a phuck about United after all.

Mind you if he doesna get sent aff we are clearly winning that match so i cannie blame boys who spent over a ton yesterday for slating him.

I think that's exactly what happened. He knew the header was a great chance that he should have done better with.
