Incredible result, gives us a chance. I'm sure the atmosphere will be amazing over there too. Absolute scenes at the goal, goosebumps witnessing that! And what a goal.

What a game, what a result! Everyone played their part. Tough ask for Freeman, maybe would have swapped him and Smith. Absolutely brilliant everyone else though. Fletcher an absolute colossal performance. Mcgrath was excellent when he came on. Exciting times.

They look like the will try and pass us death over there. We have every chance though.

Superb to a man tonight. Haven't felt as proud as that leaving the ground for a long long time. Under no illusions that it will still be a mammoth task next week to win the tie but we have given ourself a chance and you just never know.

    What a performance ! What a result !

Only half time - let’s do it in Holland next week

Thanks to the Ogrens and TA. Some amazing recruitment on show tonight. Sibbald looks a find as well as the other obvious quality we have brought in

A brilliant write up from the BBC, and you can tell Tom English didn't write it 🧡

Amazing night. Team played well and the fans responded. Well done to the display team too, helped kick the night off. As others said, only half time but at least we are going there with something to defend rather than having to chase the game. But it will be very tough.

Only downside on the night was the eejit that ran on the pitch...and a few others that tried to get on.
As it will not have been our first offence (5,000 euros for guy running on to the pitch v Slask and £13,500 for fighting against Dinamo Moscow) I expect us to be hit in the coffers again. Hugging our keeper is one thing but UEFA will probably see his slide towards the AZ fans high up in the stand as provocative.

But what a night, absolute carnage in all the stands when we scored...the very reason we all fell in love with football.

First time ive seen the goal from the start, and it is refreshing to see we have a keeper with the vision to quickly find Levitt, who is able to turn and pick out the open Middleton, who has the movement to beat his men, to pass and move into a position to supply such a composed finish!

Suppose it will be back down to earth at the weekend and a huge dose of reality served next week. But at least it was Europe!
