Really pleased for Duff and the players, especially Luke Thomas who I've always rated and came up with the goods.

    What was the attendance?

Im sure Duff has no ill feeling towards Cheltenham of course, but I hope hes well happy with that win against them today. 👍
It has to be said that there will be many better teams in this League, and I reckon last weeks opponents Plymouth could be one of them.
So for a number of reasons, it was important to get the win today.
    We move on!. 😊

I'd also like to add I was impressed with the way we shut the game down following the Thomas goal .

I take the point it would appear to be a low bar accolade in a home game with respect to Cheltenham .

However you also have to factor in the utter shambles we were on the field last season as well as off it of course .

These whilst they are the basics are massively important to do well .

Duff looks to know what he's doing and the players look as though they know what's expected of them .

Don't get me wrong we are starting from a very low bar and we've plenty of improvement to make to say the least but today looked a start .

Ive seen the goal, and what a cracking goal!!. The loose ball was picked upon by Thomas and he got his head down and ran at them, and hit it superbly. 👍
I had hoped players like him and Kane could both be given another chance here this season. And if it works out, then they would be like a couple of impressive new signings on a 'free'.
The annoying injury jinxes still keep happening though, although I know they are part and parcel of the game.

It's bloody amazing is football , the three opposition players who impressed me the most during the Stendel League One season were Luke Thomas for Coventry who gave Pinnock and Lindsay a torrid time that afternoon .

Herbie Kane and Malik Wilks for Donny Rovers and none of em for a variety of reasons haven't done it here .

I also thought Kieffer Moore wouldn't cut it in the championship mind .

Only gone and scored his first goal in the PL today , represented Wales at last year's Euros and is a shoe in for starting in the world cup in December .

We can’t all be right all of the time.

Yet we can all be wrong all of the time.
