I agree and said the same at the start of the thread. Although it would feel somewhat disappointing to not win after being 2-1 up on 83 min and giving away a penalty.

Yeah, it's always disappointing to lose a lead twice, but I reckon most would have taken 4 points from the opening two games, even if hopeful of finishing 1st place.

A point before the game would’ve been acceptable but the manner in which we’ve thrown two points away yet again is just down right pathetic. It’s not even as if it’s a shock anymore.

That's the formula Win at home, draw away that's enough for a title challenging push. It's so frustrating being a Notts fan sometimes when we are teased with taking the lead twice and still don't win the game.

The thing is it's always ourselves that do it by making mistakes. We can dominate games and do all the good stuff but at the back we just have a weakness and soft under belly when the pressure is on away from home. We've got to be more ruthless and get a two goal cushion as well. It's these things that have kept us in this league for three seasons.

Sounds like we played well enough but throwing the lead away twice doesn’t bode well for a challenge at the title. In fact it’s the story of our time in non league so far.
