Parking is a nightmare, you can park in Sainsbury’s for 2 hours free or sometimes on the road side next to the car park opposite the now closed Launderette for free

We were in Saltburn yesterday afternoon and stayed until around 2045. We drove around the main car park twice without success but if you are able bodied we managed to park on Marine Parade on the top of the hill and then walk down.

We don’t usually park in the town but use the car park on the Coast road on the north side of Marske, heading towards Redcar and walk in from there. Lovely walk along the beach and dog friendly all year until you get to the main Saltburn beach. Takes about an hour each way and free.

Wow, How lucky were you to park on marine parade, most days it’s packed
