Since we've been down here one thing I've never questioned is the togetherness of the squad. Even though we've failed to hit the target, disunity never seemed to be a credible reason. It's not even been mentioned before, and although it's only a rumour it does concern me a bit.

If there is any truth in this then that is quite worrying more so than the performance in general tonight as everyone needs to be together and unified as one pointing in the same direction if we are to have a successful campaign this season.

Feel a bit sorry for LW, wasn't first choice, probably wasn't 2nd choice either, might not even have been 3rd choice.

You know he wasn't first choice, as the club took too long to appoint.

Glad I didnt go now. It sounds just as terrible as anything we've witnessed in this league yet.

LW needs to be criticised for not changing things in the first half when the plan wasnt working, and the players need to get their act together. Dont care whether there's disharmony in the squad or not. When you're on the pitch, you put all that aside and do the job.

Comparing results is often a futile exercise. We beat Maidenhead easily on the opening day and yet they could end tonight higher than us in the league!

It does seem like there is an air of inevitability that we will succumb to defeat at Gateshead tonight. I really do hope I'm proven wrong and somehow we can gather some confidence to produce some moments of quality. An individual mistake led to the goal, so let's hope a moment of individual quality from Notts gets us the equaliser to then build on.

What would be even more disappointing is if we go out of this game with a whimper.
