This has to be seen as a disappointing result, especially in regard to comments regarding the performance. Far too early to make any judgements, but if we want to challenge at the top this seems two points dropped rather than a point gained. Big game on Saturday, maybe we'll know a bit more after that. At least Wrexham fans will be feeling worse than us!

I repeat, if there's a positive to be gleaned from tonight's rubbish it's what LW learns from it in terms of formation and tactics going forward, to give the players more chance to perform at their best.

Okay Chesterfield on Saturday. If we play the way we have been playing so far it will be a humiliating experience. Maybe Notts will rise to the occasion.

Let's bl**dy hope so. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

I remember somebody else who liked that phrase, and it didn't end well!

It's the hope that kills you. Different manager, same crap.

It seems more likely that we'll lose and be five points behind them and then never recover that gap.

For those who have seen all three games - do we look stronger or weaker than last season? On paper, I'd say we look weaker, having replaced top players at this level (Wootton, Roberys, Lacey) with relative gambles.
