Bruce is starting to sound like he has given up .... and is just going through the motions to pick up a pay cheque. This all stems from the top with Lai and where he is taking this club and the direction he sets. Gourlay is just the Chairman’s mouthpiece. As for Bruce, he’s been unlucky with Dyke. But has to take the rap for not playing our promising youngsters like TGH, Cleary and a few others.

Most worrying times for the club in 20+ years ..... and sadly I think we will fall further until Lai bails out and we have a resurrection. Hope I am still around to see it ... as the next few years look bleak.

We are in a much worse situation now with Bruce, than with Ismaël (and that wasn’t good), in my opinion.

Should’ve kept Fat Sam.

His eye for a player and contacts are streets ahead of what we have now.

We’d actually become a very tidy side by the end of that season under him.

Big Sam wanted to stay ( know a guy who knows him in Bolton ). Sam didn’t stay because there was no player budget for a realistic promotion push so he chose to leave! Don’t blame him!!

They are better than what we had although been poor in last two games. They are both championship players though and reality is if promoted they would not be good enough! Not that we would ever get promoted with Bruce and no goal scorer!!
