By todays standards all of those figures are Mickey Mouse amounts. We should be looking at at least £25,000,000 for a decent striker. We NEVER pay what other ambitious clubs pay. We ALWAYS buy on the cheap.

Look at the signings this season across the league. Mostly loans, frees or cheap deals. The odd £3-£5m deal where a club has sold a big player for multi millions.

It would be nice if the club spend £25m but it’s never going to happen. We still have one of the most expensive strikeforces in the league.
