That's another issue, what is or what isn't being a good Christian, so to speak. Your core support who turn up no matter what.

The difference between being able to chug along or being forced to make a change depends on the numbers that swell the core support to what the gates are now. I'd guess that's currently around 2k, a significant percentage of those having joined the ranks when Alan Hardy put 2k on the average gate, new fans who haven't seen the club play any higher than tier 4 and don't perceive being stuck in tier 5 as being mediocre.
