Radio Scot saying the team had a ‘solutions’ meeting minus Ross, last week, as one of the pundits says, that does not sit right! I know teams have to meet minus the manager on occasion, but this early? Liam Fox caretaker in the next few weeks?

Having only seen the team once in a competitive game, i was willing to give the team a chance, but that is only the second time ive walked out a game early in all my years of watching United!

That, along with someone nudging my son with their car as we walked home and i really think that is me done with United for a while!

Someone on another thread said we won't get in top 3 but to focus on 4th😳🤣🤣🤣......our sole focus EVERY season should be to not be in the bottom 2. End of.

WTAF! Just awful today. How can we go from having one of the best defences in the prem to the worst? Charlie Edwards and Smith are having a mate. The Aussie doesn’t look to great either. The midfield isn’t any better. Why is sibbald not getting a start? Levitt is way off the boil and McGrath was stinking again today. Up front we show absolutely no threat and we look like we have regressed to the dark days on the keeper front. Is this all Ross’s fault? The team dont look happy and barely look like they know what they are doing.

Yes it's realistic to focus on 4th if you are solid and aren't a farce with a dud manager which is what we are now unfortunately

Can forget about it Europe and top six now, needed a win today, last season people criticised despite us never being in danger of relegation, was all about the poor style of football, this season they will get no style and no hard to beat stuff with everyone giving everything for the club and lots of young guys getting game time

Last season was under appreciated, for a second season back was a good one

Our sole focus should be to score goals to win matches. All we do is pass the ball about then float in an easy cross for the opposition keeper to catch with no pressure. Then the opposition do the opposite and collect the three points or progress to the next round of the cup.

I am a patient man. I have kept my thoughts largely to myself during this horrendous run. The AZ game at home gave me and my sons an incredible night and experience. Was amazing to share it with them.

Since then I have watched our team be relentlessly bullied. They lack fight and desire. At least Ross did try to change it a bit at half time but another early second half goal killed us. Generally we were tidy on the ball but couldn't break them down. Every mistake we made looked like the transition would end up in a goal. All three came from our attacks, the second being the most disgusting goal I have ever seen us concede.

Biggest thing that hurt me today was that we were so less fit than them. Less physical, too easy to breeze past and just lacking any desire to win the ball back. Midfield most noticeable but it was all over the pitch too. Centre halves were completely dominated and that is unacceptable. Poor Behich seemed completely lost and just not ready to play. Could/should have been hooked after 15 minutes.

The desire, fitness and match prep all comes down to the manager and coaches. That is where we are lacking the most and it is not acceptable. Can't see where we will pick up our next points, although we will potentially play better against teams that try to play a bit more football than St Mirren did.

I wasn't overly bothered about our defensive style last season or the season before. The only thing that bothered me last season was when certain posters said our football was better under TA than it was under MM. No it wasn't.
