I am a patient man. I have kept my thoughts largely to myself during this horrendous run. The AZ game at home gave me and my sons an incredible night and experience. Was amazing to share it with them.

Since then I have watched our team be relentlessly bullied. They lack fight and desire. At least Ross did try to change it a bit at half time but another early second half goal killed us. Generally we were tidy on the ball but couldn't break them down. Every mistake we made looked like the transition would end up in a goal. All three came from our attacks, the second being the most disgusting goal I have ever seen us concede.

Biggest thing that hurt me today was that we were so less fit than them. Less physical, too easy to breeze past and just lacking any desire to win the ball back. Midfield most noticeable but it was all over the pitch too. Centre halves were completely dominated and that is unacceptable. Poor Behich seemed completely lost and just not ready to play. Could/should have been hooked after 15 minutes.

The desire, fitness and match prep all comes down to the manager and coaches. That is where we are lacking the most and it is not acceptable. Can't see where we will pick up our next points, although we will potentially play better against teams that try to play a bit more football than St Mirren did.
