Maybe, but I always listen to their post match summary on the drive home.

They have often commented on the slow, predictable build up play.

That's correct - so after listening to them, it's fair enough to comment on how we've played.

As the saying goes; lies, damn lies and statistics. Statistics only state what and when, they don't say how or why and those are the more important things. I get the impression you don't attend because if you did you would see the problem yourself.

It is fair, but only if your opinion is a general reflection of theirs.

My gripe was the assumption that wins and points gained guarantees entertainment value.

Agreed. I suppose an interesting question is to whether a win, a couple of goals and 3 points is better entertainment value than playing exciting football but losing?

I'd take a scrappy undeserved win over a stylish unlucky loss any day of the week.

Much more involvement these days via social media, full commentary than there used to be.

Fair enough, it is not as good as being there but to say people can't comment isn't really a realistic position to hold.
fair comment, but there are certain posters who dont attend games, and who seem to make it a crusade to criticise those who make valid comments about the games that have attended..

Or does the 15 wins and only 2 negate the entertainment level?

I'd also class the home record as better than pretty good, as a barometer it was the 3rd best in the league. That's not opinion.
Grimsby ? Another bottle job when it matters.

I'll take points any how we can get them to get out of this league, sod style over substance.

Spot on. Fans will come regardless of style, if a team is winning. Look at any teams gates at the start of a season & see where they are come Xmas & after if doing well. People jump on the band wagon when a team is winning, not cos a team is playing pretty footy & drawing or losing.
