I fully agree Animal.
It seems the club and the Supporters Trust, who were very keen to get answers on this at first, are now using silence as a tactic to sweep the matter under the carpet. Only three or four posters on BBS have asked about any actions on this but are met with a wall of silence.
BFC seem to think the holding statement of "Further comment on this issue will be made in due course" can now be safely ignored and forgotten.
The Supporters Trust leader Loko has backed off and is keeping his head down.
A protective arm has been thrown around those responsible and accountable for the deal itself and the lack of due diligence. That only leads to speculation as to the level of those responsible. Was it a Board member who suggested the deal ? Was it solely the work of the CEO ? Were any below CEO level involved ? We will probably never know.
I will give it until next Friday for the club to carry out its promise to make further comment on the matter. After that I can only conclude the club have something to hide or are willing to accept incompetence.
Spectemur Agendo, as someone said some weeks ago.
