Wow UTM you seem to be saying that with relish. The sad thing is, I think there are lots of people who supposedly have Notts County at heart, that will be quite pleased if we lose on Saturday.
Any pressure has been generated by the aforementioned people.

I do very much enjoy the high stakes scenarios. Football is theatre and who doesn't enjoy the drama if they're being honest with themselves. Relegation battles are far more interesting than a mid-table slog and at this level, 5th-7th has become the new mid-table for Notts.

A win is a win and defeat a defeat. How a draw would be received on Saturday will depend on the performance. It's often said during March-May, "the performances are irrelevant now, it's all about the results at this stage of the season" which infers that performances are of more importance 'early doors', which I think is true, you're looking for an indication of how we're going to do long term.

Exactly, saying that 5th to 7th is mid-table "in a Notts sense" is what one poster has ridiculed me for.

The alternative is to say that 12th is a respectable mid-table finish.

I hope my expectations never sink to that level.
