    Manager came in late, players came in late, hardly any competitive preseason (wasted week in 80° Spanish heat).
    There's definitely a bit of elitism around which didn't bode well and has bit us on the ar5e.
    The academy is failing if it can't produce a decent CDM and striker.
    Ross had made mistakes and needs to wise up pronto though.

    And just to add re Asghar, spending someone else's money is the easiest thing in the world. Would he have made the same decisions if it was his own dosh, very much doubt it.

    I think the size of the squad is becoming an issue, too big. It reminds me of when Alex Smith became manager. Can someone find out the number of players we had then? We then reduced the squad, Smith then brought in some experienced players who managed to survive the drop. Sounds awfy familiar, but not in a good way though.
