I always get a flu jab Sub, I've already been asked to make an appointment for this year and been told I can have a Covid booster at the same time. I'll ring up in a couple of weeks for my Flu jab appointment and politely decline the offer of a booster.

I expect the combined jab is the next trick in their book, as far as I'm concerned they can jab it right up their arris, I won't be having a combined jab, I'll take my chance on my immune system and trust in God. He'll send the man in the white suit when he's ready for me anyway, no matter what they put in my arm.

I have never had a 'flu jab and I am not starting now, however, I have had the Covid jabs, mainly to keep my missus happy. I shall not be having any more jabs at all from now and feel the same way as you about when fate will take a hand. Doesn't matter what we do, I have learnt the hard way that if your name is on it then que sera sera.

Ashington are away to Ashton in the next round of the cup ---a commentator's nightmare lol. I see that you are at home to Heaton Stannington who were promoted to the Northern League Division One at the end of last season and who have picked up just 2 points from 5 league games so far.

I always get the flu jab, never thought twice about it. However, the loss of trust in health authorities since COVID might have me rethinking that.

Tough game for your lads Sub, but you can do a bit of scouting if you want, Ashton are away to Marske tomorrow night. I'll be interested to see how you get on, the leagues might show you're two levels below Ashton, but I reckon you're not, I saw Ashington at Nelson, they're two levels below Ashton down here and your lads outclassed them.

Looks a good draw for Clitheroe on paper, but I'm wary of teams from your league, and they don't play football on paper do they.

Very true sinkov, it just depends if our teams turn up on the day which, at non-league level, you can never guarantee. We shall see in ten days time! Meanwhile I shall be watching the Clarets at Shrewsbury tomorrow and see what that holds.

Incidentally Sub, Carlisle are playing at Padiham in the Vase on Saturday, theoretically they're at the same level, we'll see, I wouldn't be putting money on Padiham.

I always get it as well, no worries about it either, but it's just one of the numerous lies they tell when they try to pass the covid jab off as just the same as the flu jab. It isn't though is it, it's an entirely different beast altogether. Not a vaccine in the accepted sense of the word at all in fact.

Carlisle lost their first match against Goole in the Cup on Saturday and they have been doing okay but every game has been tight with one goal difference in all bar one. I don't think that it will be high scoring but who knows.

"Mountain bike rider Rab Wardell dies aged 37, days after winning Scottish title. Wardell suffered ‘cardiac arrest’, says partner Katie Archibald. Scottish cyclist had won race at Kirroughtree Forest on Sunday."

"Wardell’s partner, the track cyclist Katie Archibald, tweeted on Wednesday that he had suffered a “cardiac arrest” on Tuesday morning.
“I think you’ve heard that Rab died yesterday morning,” wrote Archibald, “I still don’t understand what’s happened; if this is real; why he’d be taken now – so healthy and happy. He went into cardiac arrest while we were lying in bed. I tried and tried, and the paramedics arrived within minutes, but his heart stopped and they couldn’t bring him back.”

Another one, fit young men do not normally die from heart attacks while lying in bed of a night. How many more will have to die before the safety of the vaccines is called into question by the government and medical profession ? In the meantime, I can only suggest that anyone agreeing to have a booster jab needs to give their head a fecking great wobble.

Not just Rab, another young sportsman gone suddenly in Halifax.

"Tributes to Halifax rugby player Ben Benn who has died suddenly aged 30. Ben played for a host of local rugby teams and was very well-known. The mum of a well-known Halifax man who played rugby for a host of local teams says she has been left "heartbroken" by his sudden death. Ben Benn, from Siddal, died suddenly on Monday (August 22) leaving his family and friends "completely shocked". The 30-year-old dad played competitive rugby for a host of local league and union teams including Huddersfield Giants and Bradford Bulls."

Move along please, move along, nothing to see here.
