Yeah, good point. In fact, some people who seek fame/stardom/success are doing so to fill a void in their lives, so they are especially thin-skinned and emotionally vulnerable.

It's a bit entitled though to actively seek attention and to expect nothing but praise and adulation. As the saying goes "If you're not ready to be hated, you aren't ready to be famous"
