I hope the players see it the same way, though, and don’t see it as LW siding with the fans over them. I also hope fans don’t see it as an excuse to boo whenever they want, because that could ultimately prove counterproductive.

I agree in a way. Agree that fans should not take this as a chance to boo whenever it is not going well, but I am not sure that all fans boo as an encouragement to the players! Originally Posted by SwalePie

I don't usually pay much attention to these interviews because I see them as little more than a media obligation, but that was close to the best I've ever heard. If I had given my thoughts on why some fans booed, what Luke Williams said expressed it much better. I remained silent rather than joining in with the boos, but I understood those who did boo. Basically it's because they care. There might even be a message for this board in that interview, in that negative reactions often come from the heart. Originally Posted by countygump
