Gru, You always say the side should be picked on merit (even though you don't appear to know what 'on merit' means), Wood is the captain and has played really well in every game he's played this season so why shouldn't he keep his place in the team? If he was playing badly you'd have a point, but he isn't. You just have a bizarre vendetta against him.

Better defenders here now than Wood. McCart is better than Humphreys. We need some muscle up front we can't keep ball if not. Kelly best we've got fit to.give us that muscle.

Humphries has changed the way we play at the back. His skill and passing ability has caused a fundimental change at the club. He is able to see a short, midrange pass to feet to a midfielder who is free form his marker. In turn the midfielders know that if they get space he'll pass it to them.
Wood has improved with the better players. He was the best at the club when the season started and now he's easily on Par with the other 2 central defenders he plays with.

Wood will cost us. Manager should act before it does. Victor will do the same. Humphreys is right footed playing on the left of the back 3. If we haven't got a natural left sided player that's ok but we have McCart & he's good enough to start.

You've been saying that about Wood for years. As for Viktor costing us, didn't Vickers cost us on Tuesday night? Or doesn't that count because he's one of your favourites?
