We are developing our own, Brookes isn't developing sitting on the bench (or rather sitting in the stands!) He's better off getting game time and us having cover for Slocombe. It probably means that Brookes is lined up to go to probably National League North/South

So Brooksy is good enough for Nat League N/S, (remind me where our 2 forwards came from), but not good enough to be our reserve keeper? So we're gonna pay, (I'm assuming we'll be liable for some part of his wages) a young lad, (who I would imagine has less experience than Brooksy of 1st team football), to sit on our bench/in the stands as a reserve keeper. Phew, I'm glad you've cleared that up for me.

I imagine the manager knows what stage Brooks is at and what he needs rather than us on here who have no idea.
