It's early days but Langstaff looks like the best poacher we've had in a decade since Ooooosey!
Must admit it looks very promising at this stage, all we must do now is sort our weak underbelly out ,

Notts had 6 shots and scored 4 according to Charlie.

Can't answer for him but I'll answer for myself - the man was plotting his getaway to pastures new during the most important game of his tenure during which we grasped defeat from the jaws of victory. The man's a worm and the only reason he's not lumbered in with Judas Allardyce in my book is he at least did it above board and we got compensation.

Yes time to move on as the metamorphosis from Burchball to Williamsball has commenced. We don't have to play great, but it looks like we can and will(iams) be ruthless and score lots of goals through the likes of Langstaff and Scott.

Possibly better, because Hughesy was approaching the end of his career and not gaining value, whereas Langstaff's value will be rocketing.

Great win this. Halifax clearly aren't the team they were under Pete Wild, but a win by that margin away from home is always good, and the Langstaff/Scott combination seems to be up and running.

FGR may have cost us promotion last season coming in for him when they did. I hope justice is served for both them and Burch.

Because i thought he was average at Notts, did not do anything to merit getting a job in L1, now is getting what he deserves. Bit like in life when you get satisfaction from somebody that gets everything for nothing, then gets exposed for who they really are

Definitely. I can almost guarantee Luke Williams will be disappointed that we conceded the goal and rightly so and so will the players in fairness. It's clear we've got the goals in us what we don't want is the defence to be soft and undo that hard work. In our first couple of seasons we were really good defensively.

The clean sheet and the 1-0 win afterall is what wins titles.

It was a strange move in my opinion. Forest Green Rovers have surely hit their glass ceiling in League One, so exactly what does IB expect to achieve there? At the moment it looks like he's trying to play his pretty football with players who aren't good enough in a league that doesn't let you get away with it. FGR will need to roll up their sleeves and battle to survive, but he isn't the manager you would pick to do that!
