    Charlie asks about RR.

LW: So important to us. He wanted to play, ill with throat.

He was ok when he came on, won a couple of corners. Hard to say really as thought his control wasn't great but don't want to be down on him with not playing much.

Luke has the best opening 5 game record for a Notts manager since Keith Curle.

12 is the most goals we've scored in the opening 5 league games since the Munto season (13).

We might have been the first team to concede one, but we are the first team to put more than 2 past Halifax.

Let's enjoy it, even though we didn't keep a clean sheet.

Tougher test to come but still unbeaten and the league's top scorer in our team. No need to fear Solihull.

Yes the leagues top two highest scoring teams meet at Meadow Lane on Monday. Like the last game against Solihull it’s got 3-3 draw written all over it.

Win that and we could start to believe again.

Early days, but looking at the table now, the only bad result so far was Gateshead away. Had we won that game, we'd be 2nd. Other than that the results have been perfectly acceptable for a team hoping to challenge.

The 4 game sequence of fixtures from mid-September......

    ALDERSHOT, dorking, york, ALTRINCHAM

...... should give Notts a real opportunity to be well in the mix if they can come through the next three games in touch with top spot.
