    Tippy-Tappy

It's not been mentioned yet that Notts employed the old fashioned tactic of punting the goal kick into the middle of the pitch yesterday.

Some credit goes to LW here for mixing it up in a difficult away game and not allowing Halifax the momentum of stealing the ball off us high up the pitch.

Come on you hoof ball merchants, I thought you would be out in force today

Wasn't there CP but it didn't sound like a pitch you'd even want to attempt 2Me-2U on.

no you wouldn't, was cutting up in the warm up. But good to see LW is adaptable and not too stubborn to change. It did make for a scrappy first half but we put the chances away that came our way.

In five years time, Stephen Mulhearn will be hosting an hilarious TV show on Saturday evening on More4 featuring the most ridiculous moments from the disgraced football fad known as tippy tappy - Notts should get plenty of coverage.

I thought our owners were such dictators, they wouldn't allow our coach to employ anything other than tippy f*uckin tappy football.

Maybe the penny dropped against Cheaterfield. It was bordering on ludicrous at times just to pass it out, despite players being marked. Noticed in a few games on the box, some teams going more "traditional" shall we say.

It was even more ridiculous punting 50 yard passes to their 6’5 defenders.
We literally didn’t win a single ball and it came back every time.
